Incident of Mal Abdulkareem Central Mosque t History

In August 2023, our mosque collapsed during Asr prayers, killing 8 and injuring others. It was sad because all Zazzau Emirs have maintained the mosque until now. Built by local craftsmen in the 1800s under Emir Abdulkarimu of Zazzau and Sultan Muhammadu Bello, the mosque's architecture masterpiece has survived the test of time. Its walls echoed generations of prayers, demonstrating the community's resilience.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow's nest for Allah or even smaller, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise."

The mosques of Allah are to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish prayer, give zakah (charity), and fear only Allah.
